Yamunotri Dham
Yamunotri is in the Garhwal Himalayas, Uttarakhand. It is the origin point of the Yamuna River, and a temple dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna is located there. It is the first stop of the Char Dham Yatra. The temple has been reconstructed multiple times due to weather and an earthquake.

Hanuman Chhatti
Hanuman Chatti is located 13 KM from Yamunotri Dham. It is a small village which is an important place for Yamunotri Dham. This place is believed to be where Lord Hanuman and Bhima met, therefore it is called Hanuman Chatti.
Saptrishi Kund
Saptrishi Kund is the next destination during your Yamunotri Dham trip. It is the actual source of Yamuna. The Kund has great religious value or importance because the great saptarishi used to meditate here.
Kharsali
Kharsali is also an important holy site for starting the trek to Yamunotri Dham. It is located approximately one kilometer from the Janaki Chatti. The deity of Goddess Yamuna is moved to Kharsali for the winter season.

Kedarnath Dham
Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is 35.83 meters above sea level near Chorbai Glacier, the origin point of the Mandakini River. In 2013, the temple was flooded, and it is now inaccessible. To reach it, you must trek 13 km uphill from the GauriKund.

Summer Season (April to June)

Winter Season (November to March)
